1. Jay finally upgrades his computer.
2. Jay decides to mount some USB ports in an empty bay.
Jay does something really, really stupid with a Dremel. (Brand of small handheld drill.)
As a result, I'm typing this belated PaaT entry with a bandaged finger... So far, it hasn't been an awful week, but it could have been better. If I hadn't, say, sliced my finger open with a hobby drill. And stuff like that.

The computer case in question is the same case on which I once cut my finger so badly that I had to get three stitches. (No joke - stereotypical geek injury.) Rather than admit the truth - that I was tired, sick and shouldn't have been trying to do delicate work - I could shove it all off on superstition and claim that every upgrade (especially with this nice-looking but cheaply-assembled-on-the-inside case) must be accompanied by a certain amount of anguish...

Not gonna do it. It was my own fault for not paying attention to what I was doing.

Here's hoping that my finger will be in better shape for drawing and typing by the next entry...  %?)
