This past weekend, I went to upstate New York to visit my biological mother. (I was an adopted child). Certain events during that trip led to the following drawing. (Clicking on the drawing will show a larger version, 123k in size.)

This image consists of mostly personal symbology, which I'll write about in detail next time, along with some notes on the scratchboard technique I used. Meanwhile, it may interest some visitors to record their overall impressions of the image and see how these tally with the explanation, once presented.
