Apologies for another late entry... I had the Jornada hinge housing all fixed with epoxy putty and styrene cement, and after letting it dry overnight, I applied a bit of tension to the hinge housing, and off it snapped. So I had to find some solution that was 1) very strong and 2) simple and quick to implement, as Laura was coming by that night to pick up the Jornada, which she planned to bring to a job interview in Georgia the next morning.

I wound up crafting a metal reinforcing plate from a hair clip, slipping it gingerly under the fragmenting plastic housing, and slathering the whole mess with epoxy putty... But the job got done on time, and done right.

I have a few projects backlogged at this point (the Death triptych and the SP fan art) and I will get back to one of these at some point in this busy weekend. Laura has invited me to her family's celebration of Seder, and I have to deal with my soul-draining addiction to matter by returning to my storage unit and transferring / cleaning old items I will never have a use for but can't seem to throw away...

Until!
