It seems that I needed a longer break from PaaT and Botaram than I thought. The good news is that certain parts of my life seem likely to stabilize soon, giving a tad more leisure for art and reflection. I've been working on some art to fill up the time I missed, which will appear once it's prepared. Also, Botaram is not dead; it's just resting for a while.

For now, here's a bit of verse I knocked off this evening:

On the futility of versification

To herd same cats or catch a thought, or make
A metric sieve to save the hints of tunes,
A sad and doomed obsession! So I break
The sense, and to the sounds procrust my boons
Of contemplation; resonate the fake,
And glibly whore these figments 'gainst my runes.

Until!
